Legal Golf & Sports (Pvt.) Ltd.

Privacy policy

What we collect when you visit this website, enquire about lessons or enrol a student — and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

01 Who we are

This website, golfandsportspk.com, is operated by Golf & Sports (Pvt.) Ltd. (“Golf & Sports”, “we”, “us”), a private golf school at Plot 22, Simly Dam Road, near Bhara Kahu, Islamabad, Pakistan.

We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It applies to this website, to enquiries you send us by phone, email or WhatsApp, and to the records we keep for enrolled students.

02 Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address and anything you tell us in your message.
  • Enrolment: the student’s name, date of birth, playing experience and handicap (if any), an emergency contact, and any medical information you choose to share so a coach can keep the student safe.
  • Payments: the amount, date and method of payment. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are handled by our bank’s payment terminal.
  • Lesson footage: video of a student’s swing recorded in our video bay, used for coaching only.

Information collected automatically

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and language settings.
  • The pages you visit, the time you spend on them, the site that referred you, and approximate location derived from your IP address (city level, not your precise position).
  • Information stored in cookies and similar technologies — see section 04.

Information from others

If a parent or guardian enrols a child, we receive the child’s details from that adult. We may also receive basic information about how you reached our site from advertising and analytics providers, as described below.

03 How we use it

  • To reply to enquiries and book trial lessons.
  • To run lessons and programmes: scheduling, coaching notes, video review and progress reports.
  • To contact a parent, guardian or emergency contact about a student.
  • To take payments and keep the financial records the law requires.
  • To understand how visitors use this website and improve it.
  • To show advertising for our school on other websites, where you have not opted out (see section 05).
  • To keep our grounds, systems and students safe, and to meet our legal obligations.

We process information because it is needed to provide the lessons you asked for, because we have a legitimate interest in running and promoting the school, because the law requires it, or — for cookies used for advertising and for photographs of students — because you have given consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell personal information.

04 Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. We use them for three purposes:

  • Essential cookies make the site work — for example, remembering your cookie choices. The site cannot function properly without them.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) tell us which pages are read and how visitors arrive, in aggregate. You can block them with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Advertising cookies are set by Google and other third-party vendors to show relevant ads and measure how well they perform.

You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or clear cookies when you close the browser. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

05 Advertising & Google

We may advertise our school using Google Ads and may display ads served by Google on this website. In connection with this:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You may opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s WebChoices tool.

To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google’s own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will no longer be personalised using these cookies.

06 Children & junior students

Our Junior Academy and Tournament Squad teach students aged 7 to 16, so we take particular care with information about children.

  • Parents enrol, not children. This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from anyone under 13, and our enquiry channels ask for a parent’s or guardian’s details. A student under 18 is enrolled only by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Only what coaching needs. For a junior we keep name, date of birth, playing level, emergency contacts, relevant medical notes, attendance and coaching notes — nothing more.
  • Photos and video. Lesson footage of a junior is used only for that student’s coaching and is never published. We photograph juniors for our website or social media only with a parent’s separate written consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
  • No ads aimed at children. We do not use children’s information for advertising, and we do not knowingly allow personalised advertising to be directed at children through our site.
  • Parental control. A parent or guardian may ask to see, correct or delete their child’s information at any time using the contact details in section 11.

If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information without a parent’s consent, please email privacy@golfandsportspk.com and we will delete it.

07 Who we share it with

We share personal information only when we need to, and only with:

  • Service providers that host this website, send email, store our records and provide analytics and advertising (including Google). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
  • Tournament organisers, when a Tournament Squad player is entered into an event — with the player’s or parent’s agreement.
  • Emergency services, if a student is hurt or unwell on our grounds.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our students, staff or others.

Some providers, including Google, may process information outside Pakistan. Where this happens we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it.

08 How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment: up to 12 months.
  • Student records and coaching notes: for as long as the student is enrolled, then 2 years.
  • Lesson footage: for the length of the programme, then deleted within 90 days unless you ask us to keep it.
  • Payment and tax records: as long as Pakistani law requires, currently up to 6 years.
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months, under the settings of our analytics provider.

09 Security

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Student records are kept in access-controlled systems available only to our coaches and office staff, and paper forms are stored in a locked office. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review our safeguards regularly and will tell affected people promptly if a breach puts their information at risk.

10 Your rights

Depending on where you live, and subject to applicable law including Pakistan’s Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, you may ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you or your child.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete information we no longer need or have no legal reason to keep.
  • Restrict or object to certain uses, including direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent, for example to photographs or advertising cookies.
  • Receive a copy of information you gave us, in a portable format.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California have these rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA respectively, and may also complain to their local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

11 Data requests & contact

To make a request or ask a question about this policy, contact our data protection lead. We will confirm receipt within 7 days and reply in full within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity — and, for a child’s records, that you are their parent or guardian — before we act.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, suppliers or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will tell enrolled students and parents by email before it takes effect.
